SUM Team at Ostrov 10–22 Intensive Course The final

On 22 July 2019, SUM Vice Rector Xenia Ekimova signed a memorandum of cooperation with 33national universities as part of the Ostrov 10–22 project at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. The State University of Management confirmed its partnership with the National Technological Initiative (NTI) Platform, NTI’s 20.35 University and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) in support of the technological agenda as well as in promoting the best practices of the regions’ digital transformation. Thanks to the agreement, SUM is now incorporated into the NTI ecosystem, giving it access to a wider network of universities and organisations as well as NTI services, content and community.  

Later the same day SUM joineda network projectfor the development of AI technologiesthat will introduce innovative solutions into educational programmes of all levels and fields of study.  

Dmitry Peskov, Director of ASI’s Young Professionals division, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Digital and Technological Development,has urged the State University of Management to develop the University in what concerns the use of digital products in industry management. 

The SUM team has elaborated a further technological development programme together with education, business and government experts. Once the course is completed, SUM will actively implement this programme. 

The names of the participants with the best results in the Ostrov 10–22 events were announced during the final Pushkin AI festive programme. SUM Professor Pavel Terelyansky received a certificatefor the bestperformance in the GT-R Cosmic Voyage simulator that tests skills and helps with the study of effective team interaction.
