Digital Economy in Action: SUM Research Journals Spark Interest of Conference Members
State University of Management journals Upravleniye and E-Management were presented during the ‘ICT in the public sector: Digital economy in action’ conference, organised by Cnews—one of the largest high-tech publications in Russia and the CIS.
On 19 September, conference participants, including those from federal ministries and institutions, regional authorities, the Russian IT market, systems integrators and young researchers, discussed a number of topics related to the digitalisation of the Russian and global economy and the most promising areas in this field. Key speakers included: Ivan Buturlin, Head of the Analytics Branch of the Moscow Department of Information Technology, Leonid Anikin, Director of Business Development at Mail.ru Cloud Solutions, Anna Katamadze, Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury and others.
The conference also included presentations of specialised publications. The State University of Management presented its research journals Upravleniye and E-Management, which sparked the interest of conference members.
‘What makes the SUM conference on information and communication technologies so interesting is the fact that its subject and topics for discussion correlate with sections of our Upravleniye and E-Management publications, and conference members are the target audience for our magazines—our readers and authors. Today’s participants have shown particular interest in E-Management’s ‘Digital Economy Ecosystem’ column. We have invited all experts to submit articles for our publications,’ said Luiza Alekseyeva, Deputy Head of SUM Publishing.
Over the course of its century-long history, the State University of Management has established its position as a leader of management education in Russia, providing the necessary environment for developing and implementing innovative IT projects, strategic initiatives and unconventional approaches to solving various tasks across different economy sectors. SUM celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2019.
