SUM has proved its title as the First Management University in the country

Following the best traditions of establishing a truly professional business education in Russia, the first management university proved its right to participate in the implementation of the State Plan for Management Training for National Economy Organisations of the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the Presidential Programme is to provide the national economy with management and production organisation specialists able to meet the current requirements and priorities of business development.

In the next five years, the SUM Institute of Business and Business Administration (IBBA) will train managerial staff as part of the State Plan.

SUM IBBA has unique 18-year experience as a modern business school training leaders, which allows it to successfully train highly qualified specialists for various sectors of the Russian economy in business education programmes, traditionally occupying high positions in ratings.

Today, SUM IBBA is a training centre for the largest corporate entities. Our students come from business communities of different regions and business areas in Russia, which provides a unique opportunity to obtain expert knowledge of the current situation and future trends in the national economy.

Background information:

The programme of management training for the national economy organisations of the Russian Federation is implemented in the format of the State Plan in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 142 dated 13 February 2019 ‘On Management Training for the National Economy Organisations of the Russian Federation in 2018/19–2024/25 Academic Years and Annulment of Some Acts of the Government of the Russian Federation’.
