First Student Communications Forum to Be Held at SUM
The State University of Management is set to launch the first Student Communications Forum. Guests are invited to participate in lectures, workshops and themed sessions as part of the event, which will be held over the course of three days between 24 and 26 August.
The Student Communications Forum is a unified platform for discussing the challenges and future prospects of the university’s information activities. The event was organised by the Student Councils of the Institute of HR Management, Social and Business Communications and the Institute of Industry Management.
All the activities of SUM’s student organisations have been moved online for the duration of the 2020 pandemic. The organisers of university events have had to quickly find digital solutions to implement their planned projects. Over the course of six months operating remotely, the university has tested a large number of methods and channels for effective communication. And now, all this experience will be presented at the Student Communications Forum in an aggregated format.
The first forum will be dedicated to the topic of ‘Student Communications in the Age of Digitalisation’. The event will address the search for solutions to pressing communication challenges that had to be solved by the students’ union as part of digitalisation, from organising teamwork to adapting large-scale student projects for the online environment.
In total, the forum will feature three main topics of discussion:
- online teams
- digital transformation of projects
- digital project management
Participation in the online forum is open to everyone. You can sign up for the event at the following link.
