Day 12. SUM Team at the Ostrov 10–22 Intensive Course
Day 12 of theOstrov 10–22IntensiveCoursehas been particularly memorable for the SUM teamthanks to the meeting with Dmitry Peskov, Director of the Young Professionals division of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Digital and Technological Development.
Our colleagues presented their project covering thekey strategicareas ofSUM’s technological development as a university that is evolving in line with the National Technological Initiative. Thesessionexperts supported the SUM team’s presentation andcame to the conclusion that the development strategy for research at the State University of Management conformed to the corresponding concept of the National Technological Initiative. In addition, Dmitry Peskov gave a number of valuable recommendations as to howthe University’stechnological development programme could be further improved.
As part of the University’s Tochka Kipeniya (Boiling Point) lab our colleaguespresented a special project titledSUM ‘s TochkaKipeniyathat brings together students, young researchers, academics, investors, mentors and the leadership of the University to achieve technological breakthroughs and train staff to carry out successful projects in the context of the digital economy.
Overthe course of Ostrov 10–22, the State University of Management’s leadership hassigned a total of 23 agreements with universities from across Russia.
On the last day of Ostrov 10-22 our team will hold their final presentation of the SUM’s technological development project, with business experts, government and representatives from academia as their judges.
