A marriage of theory and practice: masters’ programmes stepping into the future
The lecturers of the masters’ programmes at the State University of Management will include representatives of government authorities who implement the national policy across different industries. This initiative is meant to contribute to expanding the students’ knowledge and keeping them up-to-date as well as assist with the adaptation of specialists to their new professions.
Such a ‘step into the future’ will be taken by educational programmes of the State University of Management designed for training the top experts across all fields of public administration. This is going to make every programme unique.
Invited experts will include representatives of government authorities who implement the national policy across different industries – heads and deputy heads of federal government authorities, heads of departments and offices of federal government authorities.
Representatives of government authorities have extensive work experience and profound expertise in their fields. They will be able to speak on the specifics of implementing government policies on all levels of authority and introduce graduate students to the real state of affairs in a specific area of public administration. This will help the students put their theoretical knowledge to practice when implementing real national projects.
This kind of approach will help train highly professional, hands-on experts for different sectors of public administration. This will increase the demand for graduates of the State University of Management on the labour market and create effective recruitment mechanisms that form solid connections between government authorities and graduate students.
