Digital Management Technology: The Student Perspective
An online meeting of the Digital Management Technologies section of the annual All-Russian Student Conference ‘Management Challenges 2020’ was held on 29 April.
More than 40 undergraduate and graduate students of SUM’s Institute of Information Systems along with students of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) and MIREA – Russian Technological University took part in the meeting. The event was moderated by Deputy Director of the Institute M N Belousova.
The young scientists presented an extensive list of studies related to advanced management technologies in the digital world today. The topics discussed include:
- the use of artificial intelligence technology in human resource management
- the issues facing managers in introducing artificial intelligence into the operational processes of their organisations
- the implementation of blockchain in various socio-economic domains
- the use of digital technologies in asset management at modern enterprises
- the specifics of omnichannel technologies and other innovative solutions in the development, implementation and maintenance of ICT.
During the presentations and subsequent discussions of the research results, the participants demonstrated solid knowledge of the selected topics and an ability to assert their point of view.
At the end of the meeting the participants underlined that such scientific events are of great theoretical and practical importance for promoting the ideas of management modernisation and its transition to new technological principles as well as for the development of emerging digital education technologies in response to the challenges posed by the rapid pace of development in today’s world.
