Digital Technologies for SUM’s Online Events
The State University of Management has held an online workshop as part of the implementation of its remote event format. The webinar was organised and conducted by the Digital Economy and High Technologies project laboratory team.
SUM held a webinar on ‘Online Tools for Remote Events’. Almost 90 people were in attendance, including moderators of upcoming conferences, workshops and round tables as well as SUM directors of institutes and department teachers. The webinar featured a showcase of online platforms and a Q&A session on event planning and organisation.
The ability to hold scientific conferences, workshops and contests remotely using digital technologies is crucial during this difficult time. ‘Not only will it be possible to work as normal without deviating from the approved plan of events, but we can also use the acquired skills and experience in hosting remote events in the future to improve the quality of inter-regional and international conferences with large numbers of participants,
said SUM Vice Rector Kseniya Yekimova.
The first online event, the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Pressing Issues of Accounting, Analysis, Control and Taxation’ will be held on 7 April. To join the conference, please click here.
