Final stage of the Student Council elections starts at SUM
The State University of Management will announce the results of the elections to the Student Councils of Institutes.
The election campaign, which has been running for over 20 days, is coming to an end. On 25 March 2020 activists of the Student Councils of the Institute of Information Systems, the Institute of Economics and Finance and the Institute of State Management and Law will choose their leaders who will lead student life at the institutes for the next 1–2 years.
Candidates standing for chairpersons of the Student Councils presented their policies for the development of student self-government to their voters online. Video broadcasts and live broadcasts on Instagram allowed all Student Council activists to participate in the election process.
For the first time, the election of Student Council chairpersons will be held virtually with the support of the Polys online voting system. It is based on blockchain technology, which makes voting 100% safe, anonymous and accurate.
