Institute of Marketing: Distance Learning Is No Threat to Creativity!
For the Institute of Marketing, the current week from 20 April to 24 April was marked by a series of events that allowed students to clearly demonstrate their creative abilities. We have prepared an overview of the Institute’s most interesting events.
The Institute of Marketing completed the second stage of the state contract for expert and analytical support and monitoring of the 2020 Russian census, the most important event in the country. It will allow not only assessing the current state of all aspects of life in Russia but also planning its socio-economic development for the next decade. As part of the 2020 Russian Census, the State University of Management will be responsible for methodological training, expert and analytical support, monitoring and subsequent analysis of census results. The best experts and scientists of the University work on the project.
The 2nd All-Russian Research-to-Practice Conference ‘Marketing Technologies, Brand Management and Advertising’ was held this week and had a group of 30 participants from the Institute of Marketing research the issues of improving the image of the country, regions and cities; Russian products; the fake news phenomenon and the promotion of educational programmes of the University.
The reports resulting from the research were presented at the conference and were highly appreciated. It was noted that all reports meet modern challenges and trends, most of which concern digital marketing programmes as the main tool for solving business problems. The report abstracts will be published in a separate compendium.
The Institute of Marketing has initiated an online scientific seminar of Anatoly Porshnev dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Marketing Department and the 15th anniversary of the Institute of Marketing. The round table participants will discuss the results of the Institute’s development as well as success and problems in the online teaching of marketing and organisation of students’ project design work.
This week we are expecting the announcement of the results of the creative competition ‘Brand Education’, which started on 18 February this year. 52 teams have applied for participation in this contest. The most creative and talented works developing the corporate identity elements of the educational institution will be published on the State University of Management official website.
