International Research-to-Practice Conference ‘Neuro Project Management’
The State University of Management and Analytical Centre for the Government of the Russian Federation hosted the International Research-to-Practice Conference ‘Neuro Project Management’.
On 11–13 March the Neuro project management conference brought together major academic practitioners and certified specialists from leading scientific organisations in Russia, Serbia, Afghanistan and Armenia as well as representatives from government and municipal authorities, management and members of the Young Crew Russia Youth Association for Project Management.
The conference attendees included representatives from universities and Russian organisations involved in project management, neuroscience, medicine and psychology as well as students of the State University of Management on educational programmes in Project Management and International Business of Industrial Products.
The conference covered such scientific fields as medicine, neuroeconomics and management. Foreign and Russian speakers combined theoretical concepts and accumulated practical knowledge to present the results of scientific and practical research on the applications of neural network technologies in project management to achieve effective work organisation. There is a large volume of tested knowledge concerning the specifics of brain perceptrons, team interaction and human management. For example, China has developed and successfully implemented technologies that allow managers to make decisions based on the brain neural signals of employees. As part of the sessions, members of the Young Crew Russia Youth Association for Project Management conducted Live Experiments networking with all conference participants and discussed the findings.

The International Research-to-Practice Conference ‘Neuro Project Management’ is the first scientific event in Russia and in the world to lay the foundation for the study of management as a separate area of neuroscience. The event was organised by the SUM Project Management Department and held with the financial support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and with information support from the Analytical Centre for the Government of the Russian Federation.
