On 27 October, the Krasnaya Tsena team representing the State University of Management performed on the stage of the Yantar Hall in Svetlogorsk (Kaliningrad Oblast).
The team took part in the semifinals of KVN International Union’s ‘Zapad Rossii’ League and competed in three rounds: greeting, warm-up, and the stand alone competition. Overall the team was awarded 12 points from the judges.
In the semifinals, the SUM team faced rivals such as Lobster ot Smekha (Tallinn), Malo Polovin (Moscow), SPARzha (the SPAR retail chain), Uzhe ne Deti (Kaliningrad), Bespoleznye Iskopaemye (Kant BFU), Sluchajnaya Kompaniya (Svetlogorsk) and Jamaica (Kant BFU).
Unfortunately, the season is over for us in this league, although it was quite helpful for our team’s development. We’d like to thank our university for giving us this opportunity. Now we’ll start practicing for our game at SUM and for the Sochi festival,
Karen Sarkisyan, second-year Master’s student at the Institute of Marketing, actor and founder of the ‘Krasnaya Tsena’ team shared with us. The team’s next game will be the SUM KVN league final, held on 22 November at the university’s assembly hall. We invite you to watch and support our university’s teams.
