Online Educational Game for SUM Students

To cheer ourselves up during the quarantine period, on 25 March, SUM’s partner, the School of Consumer Literacy and Public Administration Department of SUM, with the support of the Council for Professional Qualifications in the field of housing and utilities arranged an online game for 3rd-year bachelor students in Urban Management. The game called Opening Relationships is part of the Pro Housing and Utilities Together project.

The game is designed to develop soft skills to help build successful interaction in the working group, teams and family, achieve goals, increase productivity and effectively build communications.

‘As the practice of t-games shows, participants always get exciting experience, and each game has its own personal discoveries and insight, its own group dynamics,’

said Tatyana Goncharenko, coordinator of the Pro Housing and Utilities Together project.

The students were very pleased with the result:

‘The game teaches us to give compliments and say thank you, which we often forget to do. It helped us learn more about each other and brought us closer together as a team. We got so many positive emotions. It was exciting,’

according to the participants.

The game allowed the students to get to know each other better, gain valuable experience in group and team interaction and simply enjoy themselves.
