Ranking of the Most Influential Russian Universities: SUM makes the Top 40.
According to the 2019 RAEX annual ranking, the State University of Management is ahead of universities such as MIREA, Moscow Polytechnic University, Tomsk State University of Management Systems and Radioelectronics, Kazan National Research Technical University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Kazan State University of Management Systems and Radioelectronics and Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev.
The study covered 75 universities that have the greatest impact on society. The rating was based on 15 criteria, which were broken down into groups: the university’s contribution to the formation of elites, its role in the scientific community, its authority among young people and its impact on internet audiences. The ranking was based on data from universities and independent sources (Monitoring of Employment of Graduates of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Web of Science Core Collection database, Wikipedia, Alexa web analytics company, VK and Facebook social networks and RAEX data).
