‘Reforming IFRS: What Has Changed in 2020’ round table discussion at SUM

The State University of Management conducted a round table discussion on ‘Reforming IFRS: What Has Changed in 2020’. The event was held on Zoom and streamed on the University’s Twitch channel.

As part of the distance-learning program, the Institute of Economics and Finance organised the ‘Reforming IFRS: What Has Changed in 2020’ round table discussion for third- and fourth-year SUM students. The fourth-year speakers presented their research papers, while the discussion was moderated by Professor Olga Ageyeva.

Participants of the event discussed changes related to International Financial Reporting Standards in 2020. They also discussed the pandemic’s impact on IFRS, which has led to a completely restructured economy, and talked about the risks associated with the spread of the virus, and how they have directly affected financial reporting.
