Scientific Achievements of SUM’s Young Scientists at St. Petersburg Congress
Scientists of the State University of Management presented their works at the 9th Congress of Young Scientists of the ITMO University in St. Petersburg. They shared their proceedings in the fields of innovation, management, and high technology, and were recognised by the scientific community.
The event was held for the first time in an online format and brought together over 2,000 participants from 60 Russian cities. Young scientists of the State University of Management presented for peer review their latest research in the field of innovations, management, and high technologies, such as the use of VR in the automotive business, improvement of Nissan’s marketing strategy in Russia, as well as the simulation of traffic flow jointly developed with SUM’s industry partner, the Gradplan research institute of Moscow.
The project ‘Modeling Moscow’s Traffic Flow’ by Vladimir Shamenkov won a prize in the contest among Master’s students in the field of Transportation and Logistics. Olga Tetsoeva, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Transport System Management, was the project’s supervisor. Other representatives of SUM included Arina Zorova and Polina Garayeva, 3rd and 4th year bachelor students of the programme ‘Automotive Business Management.’
Science is a priority of the State University of Management. Proceedings by SUM’s scientists are printed in domestic and foreign publications. Their research covers current and priority issues in the economy, management, innovation, and other fields.
