SUM at the Heart of Innovative Economy

The State University of Management will conduct research for the ‘Economic Development and Innovative Economy’ state programme.

The State University of Management and the Federal State Statistic Service (Rosstat) have concluded a contract for a research project on ‘The Development of Approaches to Forming Statistical Indicators of the Activities of Microenterprises based on the Information Resources of the Federal Tax Service of Russia to Reduce the Administrative Load on Small Businesses’. The results of the research will form a key part of activity for ‘Ensuring the Completion of Works Aimed at Implementing the Federal Statistical Works Plan’ as part of the Russian state programme ‘Economic Development and Innovative Economy’.

The research will be conducted in two stages in 2020. The first stage involves analysis of freely available information resources published by the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

During the second stage, SUM experts will analyse the system of indicators used in tax statements in all taxation schemes filed by microenterprises and the terms of reporting, consider the possibility of forming indicators for microenterprises in circumstances where the Federal Tax Service of Russia grants access only to depersonalised tax data and evaluate possible risks.
