SUM’s Creative Teams at Youth Day in Gorky Park

 

On 27 June 2019, SUM’s creative student teams performed at the PICNIC HEROES Food Festival that took place during the Youth Day celebrations in Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure in Moscow. 

The festival organisers created a truly gastronomic and cultural journey across Russia and beyond. Guests were treated to traditional dishes from ten national cuisines, includingRussian, Ukrainian, Daghestani, Karachay-Balkar, Yakut, Tatar, Bashkir, Uzbek, Tajik and Azerbaijani. The stage was given to representatives of various national youth organisations, international student government bodies as well as Moscow universities’ creative clubs and KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) teams. 

The State University of Management’s representatives included two KVN teams, Pervy Upravlenchesky, from the International League, and Premier League finalistsRyazansky Prospekt, as well as StuDos creative student club. Despite the weather, the students gave it their all so the audience could really enjoy themselves. The organisers thanked SUM’s creative groups for their participation.  

The festival was organised by the All Russian Social Movement for the Promotion of Friendship and Understanding Among Youth Russian Union of Youth together with the All Russian Social Movement of Turkic Youth INDZHI with the support of the Committee on Public Relations and Youth Policy of Moscow.
