The Nuclear Group of SUM’s Tochka Kipeniya hub contributed to the creation of the National Network Accelerator concept
The Winter Island intensive training course in Sochi was successfully completed. The event was attended by 1,500 specialists from Russian companies engaged in the export of domestic digital and educational technologies and products.
The event was held in three track sections, where speakers together with participants discussed topical issues. The HR Track involved an expert and design intensive workshop on the development of effective solutions for staff training in the digital economy. The Export Track was designed to prepare technology companies to enter global markets. The Ecosystem Track was aimed at linking the resources of ecosystems of institutions and the technological development agenda of the country with a focus on regional teams.
The Nuclear Group of SUM’s Tochka Kipeniya hub participated in two tracks: HR and Ecosystem.
As part of the Tochka Kipeniya Laboratories, of which there are currently 84 across Russia, on the Ecosystem Track, SUM’s team together with other participants created the concept of a National Network Accelerator, which will support technological start-ups and interregional cooperation projects. As part of the HR Track, the team developed the basic steps for creating a Digital University. They learned from the experience of other universities that passed the competitive qualification process and won grants for the establishment of the Digital University,

The main purpose of the workshop is to prepare solutions, projects and road maps to eliminate technological and regulatory barriers to labour market development, transformation of the education system in the digital economy as well as to bring Russian start-ups and products to global markets.
The Winter Island is organised by the NTI Platform, University 20.35, ASI, RVC, ANO Digital Economy, Sirius Education Centre and relevant federal ministries. It is held as part of Technology Leadership Week.
The event was attended by representatives from digital and HR departments of large companies, recruitment agencies, top managers responsible for implementing innovative products, representatives of universities and colleges, regional ministries of labour, education, EdTech et. al.
