The Nuclear Group of SUM’s Tochka Kipeniya hub is working in Sochi at the Winter Island intensive workshop
From 1 to 4 December, the Nuclear Group of SUM’s Tochka Kipeniya hub will be working in Sochi on the Winter Island intensive workshop, where it is planned to prepare teams capable of competing and leading in global markets.
The main purpose of the workshop is to prepare solutions, projects and road maps to eliminate technological and regulatory barriers to labour market development, transformation of the education system in the digital economy as well as to bring Russian start-ups and products to global markets. The event is taking place from 1 to 4 December at the Adler Arena.
Winter Island is expected to prepare teams capable of competing and leading on global markets according to Dmitriy Peskov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development.
One of the Winter Island’s objectives is to create more technological teams in the country, so that they are better prepared and more capable, and so that our companies can compete in global markets and win the competition. Russia needs teams and companies that create state-of-the-art products, improve life in the country and sell their solutions abroad. This is what Winter Island is about, this is the mission we designed the tracks for,
said Dmitriy Peskov.
As part of the Export Track, start-ups will prepare strategies to enter global markets and have the opportunity to fulfil their global ambitions. According to Zamir Shukhov, General Director of GVA and Head of the Export Track, more than 60 Russian and international experts have come to the Winter Island to talk about bringing start-ups to markets in Europe, America, Asia, Africa or the Middle East.
These people are ready to share their experience with you, so your key goal is to learn from their experience and develop your export strategies in three days. One of our major goals is to prove that Russian teams, technologies and start-ups can be the top global leaders,
said Zamir Shukhov.
Participants to the HR Track will prepare projects with proposals to optimise training for the digital economy to meet the demands of business according to Oleg Podolskiy, Director of Training for Digital Economy at University 20.35, Head of the HR Track.
The training of professionals is failing to keep pace with technological changes; the current level of digital literacy does not meet the requirements of society and the economy,
declared Oleg Podolskiy.
He said the participants to the track will be solving three key issues.
The first is training talents, children and young people to meet the global challenges of the digital economy. The second major issue relates to digital literacy and training for the general public. The third and main issue concerns professionals in the digital economy. We often ask ourselves and others what kind of specialists we need. It is essential to determine where we are going and predict the demand correctly. Solving these issues requires complex interaction of all stakeholders—business, government, educational system representatives and experts,
he stated.
The Ecosystem Track will design a National Network Accelerator of technological start-ups. The participants will also develop a model of interaction between universities, Tochka Kipeniya hubs, public representatives from ASI and other participants in the NTI ecosystem.
The aim of our track is to allow each participant (on the Winter Island) to define their role in this system. It is important that we work out how these roles will be implemented in just a few days. It is important that everyone understand that they should and can fulfil their mission together with the entities around them in this ecosystem’, said Georgiy Belozerov. ‘We need to increase the number of successful business projects in 2020, and this is the purpose of the Ecosystem Track,
noted Georgiy Belozerov, Deputy General Director, Network Director of ASI, Head of the Ecosystem Track.
The event is organised by the NTI Platform, University 20.35, ASI, RVC, ANO Digital Economy, as well as relevant federal ministries.
