The State University of Management is listed in the TOP 10 Universities

The State University of Management was listed in fourth place in the rating of the TOP 10 Universities.

Representatives of 329 higher education institutions from 11 countries (Israel, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, etc.) took part in the Third International Competition of Students and Teachers Professional Stars – 2019/2020.

The competition is aimed at developing a proactive attitude and creativity of students and teachers as well as stimulating interest in vocational education and providing opportunities for self-expression.

Participants included students, bachelors, masters, postgraduates, doctoral students and teachers of vocational education institutions. They competed within their educational level, in one or more disciplines, categories and forms.

 Aleksandra Nikitina, a third year student of the Management of Industrial Organisations programme of the Institute of Industrial Management, took second place in the overall rating of students’ vocational activity. She submitted four projects for the contest: ‘Application of Digital Technologies for Teamwork Efficiency Enhancement’; ‘ The Issue of Implementing Technological Innovations in Russian Organisations’; ‘Working Capital, Activity Characteristics, Cost of Production of Industrial Organisation (based on the example of NorNickel Group)’; ‘Designing the Process to Select the Most Preferred Option for Investing in Russian Company Shares’.

Teachers were evaluated based on the level of their scientific and pedagogical competencies related to the design and preparation of the educational process.

Second place in the rating of vocational activity of teachers was awarded to scientific articles by Yuliya Kafiyatullina, a senior teacher, assistant at the Engineering Business Management department of SUM’s Institute of Industrial Management, and Yelena Panfilova, PhD in Economics, associate professor in the Engineering Business Management department of SUM’s Institute of Industrial Management on the following topics: ‘The Issues of Integrating Online Learning into the Educational Process of Higher Education Institutions’ and ‘Key Issues of Cooperation between Organisations in Implementing Joint Research Projects’.

Universities were ranked based on the results of the participants in individual competitions.

The fact that SUM is at the top of the TOP 10 Rating of Universities indicates a high level of student training and the professionalism of teachers.
