The State University of Management is number 70 among the 100 Best Russian Universities, according to Forbes.

Forbes experts have published a new ranking of Russian best universities; SUM’s quality of education, international activities, and graduate demand have won the university its high score. That’s how SUM has been listed as number 70 in the ranking of universities whose graduates are Russia’s best of the best.

This year, Forbes has altered its ranking methodology, which has affected the results. The ‘Quality of education’ metric based on data from the monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education now has a new parameter: the ‘Quality of professors’. This parameter accounts for professors’ remuneration, the balance between the number of professors and the number of students, and the share of international professors.

The ‘International activities’ metric has also changed. Now it accounts for the share of international students and internships, and double degree programmes.

Forbes has also conducted its own study and found out the graduates of which universities employers value most. This parameter has been included in the ‘Quality of graduates’ metric. Another factor was universities’ elite nature, using the ‘Forbes factor’ parameter.
