Students from the State University of Management reached the finals of the QUASAR All-Russian Project Management Olympiad
The results of the qualification phase of the QUASAR All-Russian Project Management Olympiad have been announced. The State University of Management team ‘Raduga’ (Rainbow) made it to the finals with the highest score (48 out of 50) out of 200 teams from other Russian universities.
The qualification phase of the QUASAR All-Russian Project Management Olympiad was held remotely at SUM’s Tochka Kipeniya. In total, there were four teams of students from the Project Management Department of the Institute of Industrial Management. ‘Raduga’ team scored 48 points, ‘Bishop’ scored 44, ‘BEX’ scored 42 and ‘Flexics’ scored 39.
A minimum of 42 points was needed to reach the finals. Three out of four SMU teams satisfied this condition.
In accordance with the Olympiad Regulations, only one team from a university, with the highest score, is allowed to participate in the finals. Therefore, the State University of Management will be represented in the final competition, by the ‘Raduga’ team of masters: Irina Sundukova, Artem Geokchakyan, Natalya Kobyzeva.
The winners of the Olympiad finals will receive special prizes from the Olympiad partners, an opportunity to do an internship in leading Russian companies-participants of the Project Olympus Competition, a PM STANDARD certificate in the project management and will be included in the open register of specialists in the field of project management and recommended for internship in leading Russian companies.
The official award ceremony will be held on the day of the final stage of the Olympiad in the Analytical Centre for the Government of the Russian Federation in December.
