  1. Where are the dormitories located?

Two block-type dormitories are located on the campus of the State University of Management near the Vykhino metro station. All university facilities are within walking distance.

  1. How much does it cost to stay in a dormitory?

In the academic year 2023-2024, the cost per year varies from 36348 rubles to 42012 rubles, of which from 2100 rubles to 5100 rubles for hiring and from 34,248 rubles to 36,912 rubles for utilities. The total cost depends on the type of room. Payment is made only immediately for the whole year. Discounts are available for privileged categories of students.

3.How do I apply for a dormitory?

If you did not apply for a dormitory upon admission, you can apply to the Campus until September 15. This can also be done remotely: in the applicant’s personal account, prepare an application, print, sign, send a scanned copy of the application; a copy of the passport (the main spread and the registration page); documents confirming benefits (if any); translation of the passport into Russian and a referral from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (for citizens of other countries) to the address studgorod@guu.ru

You are eligible for a dormitory if you have a permanent registration (with a passport) more than 80 km from the university and have submitted your application on time. The provision of a dormitory in September is not guaranteed, but all those in need will receive a place during the year.

  1. Are students studying under a contract with payment of tuition fees accommodated?

Yes, citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of other countries studying under a contract with payment of tuition fees and at the expense of budgetary allocations from the federal budget have the right to receive a place in a dormitory.

  1. Are part-time and part-time students accommodated in the dormitory?

No, only full-time students can move into the dormitory.

  1. What are the features for foreign citizens?

If you are a citizen of another state, you will also need to attach the following to the application for accommodation in the dormitory:

  • referral from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation;
  • translation of the passport into Russian.

  1. When will I be accommodated?Already in September?

Unfortunately, the number of places in the dormitories of the State University of Management is limited, so check-in takes place in stages on a first-come, first-served basis. First, the holders of benefits are accommodated, and then priority is given to students with the best results according to the results of the Unified State Exam, as well as with the longest distance of residence (according to permanent registration in the passport).

The decision to move in is made by the Housing Commission, which meets as often as possible, but no more than once every 2 weeks. Lists for accommodation are published on the university website, in the «GUU Dormitories» community on VK, as well as on the stand of the Student Campus.

The State University of Management also provides the opportunity to move into alternative places of residence. To move into an alternative place of residence, you must:

  1. Choose an alternative place of residence that best suits you in terms of location, cost and conditions;
  2. In the Student Campus (GUK-345) write an application for settlement in an alternative place of residence;
  3. Within 2-3 working days, the Student Campus will prepare the necessary documents for your check-in;
  4. Pick up the documents on the Student Campus and go to check in at an alternative place of residence.
  5. I am from Moscow or the Moscow region.Can I move into a dormitory?

The right to a dormitory is granted only to those students who live at a distance of more than 80 km from the university (according to registration in the passport). Thus, residents of Moscow cannot get a place in a dormitory, and residents of the Moscow region move in only if there is a sufficiently long distance from the university.

  1. I found myself on the check-in list.What should I do?

Within 14 days, you need to come to room U-345 [Main Academic Building] with your passport to sign a contract and receive a receipt for payment for accommodation. If you are a minor, you must also be accompanied by your parents or other legal representatives with their passports.

After paying and receiving a check-in order, you need to get an electronic pass. If you have already prepared all the documents necessary for living in the dormitory (certificate 086/y, a copy of your passport, a photo, etc., a detailed list on the website), then you can go to take your place, for which you need to contact the commandant of the dormitory.

  1. What are the conditions in the dormitories of the State University of Management?

The complex of dormitories of the State University of Management consists of two buildings on 18 and 16 floors with rooms combined into blocks. Each block has 1 or 2 living rooms, an entrance hall, a toilet and a bathroom. On the floor there are approximately 18 blocks, a kitchen and a laundry room for your own appliances.

One room can accommodate from 1 to 4 people.

Each dormitory has a public free laundry service that is open every day.

The kitchens are equipped with electric stoves, ovens and shelves and drawers to accommodate their own small kitchen appliances.

Also in the dormitories there is a medical office, a gym, an assembly hall, a coworking space and a luggage room. Free admission during working hours.

Residents of dormitories can independently purchase a refrigerator and install it in their room.

In case of any malfunctions and damages, you can leave a free request to call the appropriate specialist, who will arrive at the scene as soon as possible. Thus, a high level of technical condition of the dormitories is ensured.

  1. Does the dormitory work around the clock?

Yes, in each dormitory there is a commandant on duty around the clock, who can provide the necessary support on various issues related to accommodation.

In addition, due to the strict access control regime, a high level of security is provided on the territory of the university. At the same time, residents of dormitories can both enter the dormitory and leave it at any time of the day (around the clock).

  1. What documents do I need to check into the dormitory?

At the stage of applying for a place (for citizens of the Russian Federation):

  • passport;
  • a copy of the passport (the main spread and the page with registration);
  • a copy of the passport of one of the parents (only for minors), a copy of the birth certificate (only for minors); a copy of the power of attorney of one of the parents for the legal representative (in the absence of parents, only for minors)
  • documents confirming benefits (if any)*;

At the stage of check-in in the dormitory (for citizens of the Russian Federation):

  • passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation with a stamp of permanent residence (without an extract from the permanent place of residence) (original and a copy of the 1st page with a photo and a page with registration);
  • a copy of the passport of one of the parents (only for minors), a copy of the birth certificate (only for minors); a copy of the power of attorney of one of the parents for the legal representative (in the absence of parents, only for minors) – a check-in order;
  • medical certificate in the form 086-U with a complete list of infectious diseases (original and copy);
  • Certificate of the results of fluorographic examination
  • certificate from a gynecologist (for girls) (original and copy);
  • vaccination certificate (or vaccination sheet) indicating preventive vaccinations against measles, diphtheria and tetanus by age from the polyclinic at the place of residence) (original and copy);
  • medical insurance policy (copy);
  • photos 3×4 (1 pc.);

At the stage of applying for a place (for foreign citizens):

  • the original and a copy of the passport with a notarized translation;
  • a copy of the passport of one of the parents with a notarized translation (only for minors), a copy of the birth certificate with a notarized translation (only for minors); a copy of the power of attorney of one of the parents for the legal representative with a notarized translation (in the absence of parents, only for minors);
  • referral from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

At the stage of check-in in the dormitory (for foreign citizens):

  • a check-in order;
  • a copy of the receipt of payment under the settlement agreement;
  • a copy of the voluntary medical insurance policy;
  • the original and a copy of the medical certificate of form 086U indicating the health group, physical education group and medical characteristics (if any);
  • the original and a copy of the HIV/AIDS certificate;
  • the original and a copy of the certificate of vaccination against measles or a medical test for antibodies to the measles virus;
  • the original and a copy of the certificate of the results of the fluorographic examination (medical report on the absence of tuberculosis disease, X-ray image); – matte photos 3.5×4.5 cm or 3×4 cm – 2 pcs.; – the original and a copy of the gynecologist’s report (for girls).

*Please note that documents confirming benefits must first be submitted for confirmation to the social and legal department.

  1. Can I bring guests to my room?

At the moment, there is a restriction on receiving guests. Only guest passages between residents of the dormitories are allowed during the day (from 9:00 to 22:00).
