Training staff for the automotive industry is a priority in the development of the economy
 During his meeting with the Russian government, President Vladimir Putin discussed the prospects for industrial development of the national economy amid the coronavirus pandemic. He particularly stressed the importance of the automotive industry, which is set to become a pillar of the Russian economy.
This increases the demand for training managerial personnel for the automotive industry, those who are expected to be at the helm of sustainable development and create a strategic path for the economy.

Master Class: ‘The Development of the Energy Sector in Norway’
 During this master class, Daria Zhadobina, Management and Control Coordinator for the Kharyaga project of Equinor, a Norwegian energy company, shared her experience of working in the company and spoke about how the largest company of Norway operates, what its main activities, projects and values are, what the company does in Russia, as well as how she started her own career path in the company and what the secrets of her career growth are.

Lectures on the Transportation Industry: ‘Management Solutions for Transportation and Logistics Amid the Pandemic’
At 11:30 on 30 April, Oleg Kozhushko, Passenger Air Traffic Controller at PJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, presented a seminar on Management Solutions for Transportation and Logistics Amid the Pandemic as part of Lectures on the Transportation Industry project. He discussed the state of transportation and logistics amid the pandemic with the students, and the various challenges faced by companies.

Congratulations to the winners of the Student Olympiad on the Basics of HR Management!
Students of the State University of Management took first and third place at the Student Olympiad on the Basics of HR Management, outperforming the teams of leading universities.

Research of young IEF scientists in the context of economic effects
 In the near future, the young scientists of the State University of Management will defend their theses at their respective IEF departments. Thus they will conclude three years of research, presentations given at scientific conferences and written and published academic papers. 

Innovations at the start of acceleration
 The State University of Management and Moscow Technological University of Communications and Information Technology are summing up the results of the 1st Inter-University Student Hackathon that was held with the participation of their students with the goal of identifying promising tech projects for subsequent acceleration.  

Student research-to-practice seminars in SUM’s Institute of Information Systems
 Marina Oreshina, Associate Professor of the Information Systems Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, held a series of research-to-practice seminars on Webinar and YouTube as part of the university’s distance learning activities.
