Olga Kryshtanovskaya Ranks Among the Top 50 Most Acclaimed and Influential Experts in the Field of Sociology

State University of Management Professor Olga Kryshtanovskaya has been ranked among the top 50 most acclaimed and influential experts in the field of sociology.

The ranking was compiled by the Centre for Current Policy, a private company specialising in political analysis, consulting, assessment, monitoring and research.  The study was commissioned by the Social Research Expert Institute and is based on the Expert Demand Index.

The Expert Demand Index consists of four criteria: citation rate (scientific articles and media), recognition (the expert’s authority within the community), popularity (number of subscribers on social media), rating (participation in scientific activities).

According to the results of the study, Olga Kryshtanovskaya, Doctor of Sociology, Director of the State University of Management Centre for the Study of Russian Elites, placed 22nd on the ranking of the most acclaimed and influential experts in the field of sociology. The professor received a high rating for the frequency of her citations, as well as her involvement in scientific projects and research activities.
