Applications are now being accepted for the student conference on AI and digital economy

On 13 November 2019, the State University of Management in collaboration with Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics and National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) will hold the First Russian Research-to-Practice Student Conference—Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy: Students’ Opinion.

The Conference is organised as part of the Third International Scientific Forum—Stepping into the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, one of the largest and most prominent events held by SUM. Students of the State University of Management will get a chance to demonstrate their scientific and research skills and knowledge. Their projects will be evaluated by professors from some of the leading Russian universities and a number of experts. The winners will be able to showcase their work at the Forum.

For the first time ever, SUM will gather university representatives from all across Russia to discuss the development and introduction of digital technologies, their influence on the Russian economy and the quality of lives of the citizens. Conference partners include Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Saint Petersburg State University of Economics.

The Conference will include five sections: 

  1. The Influence of Digital Technologies on Industrial Manufacturing
  2. Artificial Intelligence as a Development Factor for Education and Science
  3. Financial Sector Transformations in a Digital Economy
  4. Countries in the Era of a Digital Economy: from Smart City to Smart Nation
  5. Social and Business Communications in the Era of a Digital Economy

The Second Interdisciplinary Hackathon and a round table dedicated to Digitalisation of University Education: Students’ Opinion, will also be part of the Conference.

Entry submissions and papers to be published in the conference proceedings will be accepted until 31 October 2019 at 4guu@mail.ru.
