Central Bank of Russia Entrusts State University of Management with Its Employee Training
The SUM Institute of Business and Business Administration has completed its preparation of the ‘Behavioural Economics’ training course for employees of the Central Bank Service for Consumer Protection and Financial Inclusion.
Under the guidance of Artyom Savostitsky, Ph.D. in Economics (Candidate of Sciences), Associate Professor of the Economic Policy and Economic Indicators Department of the SUM Institute of Economics and Finance, Central Bank employees have broadened their knowledge of methods and instruments for assessing the behavioural patterns of financial players, the influence of mass media and advertising on consumer behaviour, learned about the experience of financial regulators in developed countries in applying the instruments of behavioural economics, etc.
The course included both theory and practical exercises such as case studies.
The learning group was managed by Mikhail Mamuta, Head of the Service for Consumer Protection and Financial Inclusion of the Central Bank of Russia.
The attendees appreciated the extensive practical part of the course, specifically working with case studies, and also the high level of expertise of the professors.
