9 May is a sacred holiday. This holiday combines the joy of victory, the bitterness of loss, the pride in the country and immense love for the motherland. For our people, this victory was difficult to achieve and came at a high cost, and no one in Russia would be indifferent to this holiday. The war has touched everyone, and every family cherishes the memory of those terrible events and the difficult challenges that befell on our country during the war years.

Millions of people are united by the memory of the heroic feat of the hero soldiers and the home front workers who defeated Nazism, passing that memory down from generation to generation. Their courage, unity, relentless willpower and devotion to the motherland will always remain an example and an important moral model for all of us.
