Electronic Signatures not Required to Apply to SUM

Online application to the State University of Management no longer requires an electronic signature. This will greatly simplify the admissions process for applicants and universities alike.

Under the rules of admission, this year’s applicants do not need electronic signatures to file documents remotely, reports TASS (citing the Media Service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education). Starting from 20 June applicants can submit their documents via SUM’s digital Applicant Account system. This does not require an electronic signature.

Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov previously said that applications to Russian universities can be made before the Unified State Exam, which starts on 20 June. Admission will remain open until 17 August.
