Graduates of SUM received the Chinese Government grant
The State University of Management is involved in international activities aimed at expanding educational opportunities for SUM students in foreign universities. Cooperation with Chinese universities and extensive educational activities resulted in SUM graduates receiving a grant from the Government of the PRC that will allow them to study for a Master’s degree at the Harbin Institute of Technology.
The fact that our graduates are in high demand across the world demonstrates the high quality of education at SUM. Graduates Larisa Zharikova’s and Ilyana Ochirova’s education in China will be funded by a government grant. Larisa will study in Business Administration in English and Ilyana will study Management of Science and Engineering in Chinese. The grant will not just pay the girls’ tuition and accommodation fees in full, but they will also receive a monthly stipend of 3,000 yuan.
Larisa Zharikova: “Getting a grant from HIT has been my dream since an exchange trip I made in my third year. Graduates of SUM, who had already received the grant, helped me to choose my specialism and prepare all the documents. They shared their experience and advised me what to do in order to avoid any pitfalls. The International Department of SUM provided invaluable assistance as well. I would like to tell any future applicants not to give up if anything goes wrong and to look for new ways to achieve their dreams.”
