Join the ‘Winning the Hearts’ Blood Donor Marathon!

During the enforced self-isolation, blood donor events are nigh impossible to arrange. Accordingly, the number of volunteers has fallen, while the need for donated blood has not. Today, donors are desperately needed at Blood Donation Centers, and you can help by participating in the ‘Winning the Hearts’ marathon.

The State University of Management strongly supports donor movements and the ‘Winning the Hearts’ Moscow Marathon. Employees and students of the university regularly participate in such campaigns saving lives of those in need of help.

With the pass system introduced in Moscow, donating blood is possible: just apply for a pass to visit a medical institution. To participate in the marathon and make an appointment for an upcoming blood donation, email your details at info@nfrz.ru, specifying your name, contact information, the educational institution you attend, and information on whether you already are a blood donor.

Please note that attending a Blood Service facility is safe if you follow hygienic and protective measures, i.e. wear a medical mask, regularly wash your hands and apply antiseptic, and maintain a safe social distance. Taxi service will also be provided for the donors’ travel, minimising the risk of contracting the virus.

For improved safety, all Blood Service facilities uphold enhanced decontamination standards and ensure social distance between donors.
