Leading Experts of SUM’s Institute of Industry Management Discuss Digital Innovations at 2019 Autonet International Forum

The leading experts of the Institute of Industry Management (IIM) of the State University of Management joined the discussion of today’s digitalisation problems in the automotive industry at the 2nd International Forum ‘Autonet–2019’ that took place at the prestigious SAP Digital Space.

SUM’s IIM Professor Vladimir Savchenko-Belsky, Assistant Professor Artem Merenkov and third-year students took part in the Autonet–2019 Forum’s plenary session and theme-specific sessions, dedicated to the digitalisation of the automotive industry and integration of AI into traffic control and transport logistics.

As a think tank, the Institute of Industry Management of the State University of Management has cutting-edge expertise at its disposal in the latest approaches to transport digitalisation. IIM’s innovative ideas are being tried out at SUM’s Tochka Kipeniya (Boiling Point).

As well as sharing their innovative approaches with the industry’s expert and the executive community at the Autonet–2019 Forum, IIM’s leading experts were able to secure the participation of its key representatives at the upcoming digital forum titled ‘Stepping into the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy’ that will take place at SUM in December.

In 2019, the Autonet International Forum brought together industry leaders such as KAMAZ, AvtoVAZ, GAZ, Sollers and GLONASS. Its speakers included Maxim Akimov, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on Digital and Technological Development, Aleksandr Morozov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, and Eduard Lysenko, Minister of the Government of Moscow and Head of the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow.
