Nauka in Search of Next-Generation Leaders at the State University of Management

A new phase of the Leaders of Russia contest has been launched, with a special Nauka track supervised by the ANO Russia—Land of Opportunity and the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in the Sphere of Science and Education under the Presidential Council for Science and Education with the support of Russia’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Russia’s rapid scientific, technological, social and economic development sets its leaders new challenges, requiring them to set the right goals, bring scientists together and inspire them to achieve breakthroughs in a bid to realise our country’s development priorities. The goal of the Nauka track is to shape a community of such leaders in research and development, sharing common values and ready to take on responsibility for leading the country’s scientific and technological development.

The State University of Management Rector Ivan Lobanov said:

‘The Leaders of Russia contest is a social elevator with impressive state support, which presents an opportunity to prove oneself, demonstrate one’s talents and ability to work in a team, and join the managerial elite of tomorrow’.

The Coordination Council invites you to take part in the Contest. The winners will gain access to internships and a chance to take up managerial positions at Russia’s leading universities and research institutions, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and relevant regional ministries as well as to head Research and Educational Centres and projects, join the Coordination Council, and so on. The winners will be exposed to the best practices of Russian research leaders, with members of the Presidential Council for Science and Education, heads of the largest universities and research institutions, chief executives of corporations and Russia’s leading scientists as their mentors.

By completing the different phases of the Contest, participants will be able to realise their managerial potential with new growth prospects open to them, find worthy adversaries and build a team of like-minded people with whom they will implement the most ambitious ideas. The Contest presents a unique opportunity to join the scientific community of leaders and make a brilliant career in research and development.
