New Research Labs at SUM

On 1 August, the new research and engineering Centre of Digital Management Technologies opened at the SUM. It consists of two research and project labs equipped to create and use the latest info-technological and info-analytical solutions in the digital environment of government and corporate management.

The work of research laboratories “Mathematical Modelling & Knowledge Engineering” and “Advanced Information Technologies” is aimed at coordinating the development of a digital platform to manage the socio-economical and organisational and technical systems for the cooperation programmes between the State University of Management and its partners, as well as to ensure the informational and technical maintenance of research activities for the employees working in the SUM Institute of Information Systems.

The personnel of the Centre is planning to organise complex interdisciplinary science & research and test & construction works in digital economics and management. Thanks to this lab, the SUM will be able to form a digital platform to manage socio-economical and organisational and technical systems, including systematisation of the results of scientific activity at the university and efficient use of its results.

The Centre is competent at implementing projects in management digitalisation, creating mathematical methods and models to support solutions for a wide range of administrative and analytical tasks in digital management, creating informational and analytical tools for a system of distributed situational development centres and building computer AI systems for the analysis and processing of big data.

The labs develop the most advanced IT solutions for managing socio-economical and organisational & technical systems.
