Research and Education Laboratory ‘Digital Economy and Advanced Technology’ at the Hackathon for the digital transformation of business
On 24 and 25 August, a team from the Research and Education Laboratory ‘Digital Economy and Advanced Technology’ worked on developing a service which would contribute to engaging young people in economic activities, during the Hackathon for the digital transformation of business. A hackathon is a sprint-like coding event where specialists from different fields work together on software projects.
The State University of Management was represented by the students from the Information Systems Institute, Ivan Vdovin and Igor Narvatov. Their task was to solve a real-life case of an existing company which involved a business product presentation and writing the code. The students completed the tasks successfully and received their prizes and invaluable experience. The Research and Education Laboratory ‘Digital Economy and Advanced Technology’ is currently recruiting a full-time team which will take part in these kinds of events.
