Results of Brand Education Creative Competition Announced

The Institute of Marketing has announced the results of the Brand Education creative competition to create brand elements for SUM.

Participants of the competition included IM and IIS students, with a total of 52 teams submitting entries. The students approached the case in a professional manner, conducting competitor analysis and target audience research before developing the concept.

The teams developed exciting and creative ideas for leaflets and booklets for the admissions committee as well as website layouts, souvenirs, advertising materials and mascots, teasers, promotional videos, SUM social media promotion projects and even a jingle.

The competition was made up of two stages: the qualifiers and the final. The jury for the qualifying stage comprised leading teachers and practitioners in marketing, brand management and advertising. The finalists’ ideas were evaluated by the heads of SUM departments directly interested in new and fresh ideas for brand promotion.

The teams prepared projects in four categories. In addition, all entries were included in an ‘Audience Choice’ category rated by representatives of the student community, bachelor’s and master’s graduates and SUM teachers.

More than 30 people were involved in arranging the competition and evaluating the projects. The jury praised the entrants’ creative ideas and considered, structural approach to project creation. The winners’ ideas will be presented to the university’s management.

The organisers have decided to make the competition an annual event and to involve other companies who have already given their support to the idea and are ready to cooperate and provide assistance.
