SUM to host the All-Russian Festival of Science NAUKA 0+

The State University of Management invites everyone to attend exciting educational events as part of the IX All-Russian Festival of Science NAUKA 0+. The project is organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Government, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The NAUKA 0+ festival is one of the world’s largest social projects for the promotion of science. No one living in the 21st century can possibly disengage from scientific knowledge and technology. The organisers of the All-Russian Festival of Science NAUKA 0+ strive to develop the popular science movement in every city across Russia and explain in plain language what science is about and why it is not just a system of knowledge, but instead a fascinating phenomenon that can be an inspiration for your future career or hobby.

The programme of this event is designed for all ages and features more than 10,000 unique events in 80 regions across Russia, including scientist lectures, scientific exhibitions, various competitions, lively presentations and much more.

In 2019, the State University of Management invites schoolchildren, prospective and current students, adults and working professionals to these free-to-attend events as part of the IX All-Russian Festival of Science NAUKA 0+. Background information:

The first Russian Festival of Science was held at Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2006 at the initiative of MSU Rector and academician V. Sadovnichy. More than 20,000 people attended the three-day event. The success of the national Festival and the popularity of similar events abroad have highlighted the need to organise these events annually.

As of 2007, the Festival of Science has become a citywide event, receiving financial, organisational and technical support from the Moscow government. Four years later, the Festival of Science was granted All-Russian status and since has been held under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
