SUM’s Digital Forum—a Leading Platform for Sharing Ideas on Implementation of Russia’s Presidential Executive Order On the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Russian Federation
On 10 October 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order No. 490 On the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Russian Federation. On 9–10 October 2019, the State University of Management will hold the Third International Scientific Forum—Stepping into the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, with national and international experts discussing the prospective development of AI.
The Presidential Executive Order introduces the National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence until 2030.
It also announces changes to the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation National Programme, among other things by developing and establishing the Artificial Intelligence Federal Project. These changes shall be introduced by 15 December 2019.
The International Scientific Forum ‘Stepping into the Future: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy’ is an established top-class expert platform for discussing the latest trends in Industry 4.0 and the development of AI. This year, the Forum will be titled ‘Smart Nations: Economy of Digital Equality’.
Russia’s leading government officials, representatives of business, science and education as well as key international experts will present their view on which AI ecosystems will lay the foundations for the ‘digital government’ now under development. In particular, they will discuss intellectual connectors, the ‘new mobility era’ and issues and prospects of digital production customisation and consumption personalisation.
Based on the results of the Forum, experts will present their recommendations on the further development of AI and put forward expert proposals on improving the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation National Programme and on shaping the Artificial Intelligence Federal Project.
