The Central Bank of Russia entrusts SUM with employee training
The SUM Institute of Business and Business Administration has trained senior managers and specialists from different departments of the Central Bank on the ‘Risk-Oriented Internal Control in the Banking Sector: Current State and Development Prospects’ programme.
Under the guidance of Anzhelika Terekhova, Candidate of Economics, Director of the Internal Control and Audit Department of CJSC NVision Group, and Olga Larina, Candidate of Economics, Docent of the Banking and Entrepreneurship Department of the SUM Institute of Economics and Finance, Central Bank employees broadened their knowledge of best Russian and international practices in internal control regulation in the banking sector, the development vectors of internal control in the banking sector and the role of financial technologies in implementing risk management procedures in banking.
Participants of the course also gained insights into actual examples of financial technology in use amidst ongoing digitalisation and the influence such technology has on the demands of the internal control system.
The programme included both theory and practical elements, such as case studies and business simulation games.
Central Bank employees appreciated the relevance and practical importance of the topics discussed as well as the professors’ high level of expertise.
