Top-Level Training for HR Management Professionals at SUM Reaffirmed

Russia’s largest online recruitment platform HeadHunter (hh.ru) has ranked Moscow universities across eight professional areas for 2018–2019. The State University of Management has once again proven it offers top-level professional training in a number of areas, such as HR management, economics and finance, and tourism and hospitality.

The study was based on the job market demand for university graduates. HeadHunter experts analysed the CVs of 2018—2019 graduates of Moscow universities published on the HeadHunter website. The ranking encompasses eight professional areas: IT, law, economics and finance, HR management, marketing communications, medical science, journalism, and tourism and hospitality. The study was based on at least 1,100 CVs with accurate university names and at least 20,000 job offers in Moscow, for each area of expertise.

The findings were used to rank Moscow universities in terms of the most in-demand and successful graduates. Such graduates receive more invitations to job interviews, are offered higher salaries, and tend to look for jobs within their field more often.

Ranked third, with a score of 6.41 in HR Management, is the SUM Institute of HR Management, Social and Business Communications, which trains some of the best HR professionals, along with universities such as RANEPA, Moscow State University (MSU), Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH), Moscow University for the Humanities (MosGU), Russian University of Transport (MIIT) and A. N. Kosygin Russian State University.

The Institute of HR Management, Social and Business Communications has also jumped two positions up from the previous year in the tourism and hospitality field; it now ranks 7th, with a HeadHunter score of 7.57. Experts also assigned a high score to the SUM Institute of Economics and Finance (3rd in economics and finance with 7.98) and the University’s Institute of Information Systems (11th, with 5.58, i. e. 4 places up from 2017—2018).
