Sigma Team Wins Basic Case Skills Championships
The Sigma team was declared best at the Basic Case Skills Championships, held at the State University of Management. The case was proposed by Schneider Electric and elaborated by the National Changellenge Case League. A partner of the Case Championships was the Mail.ru Group.
With the organisers of the SUM Garnet case club as their mentors, the Sigma team had to develop a business strategy for a specific production issue.

It’s hard to describe all the emotions I experienced as a Case Championships participant. Delving into solving a real production issue, you start to get a deeper understanding of everything that used to seem so unattainable and complicated!”

The Case Championships featured a total of 25 participants, divided into five teams, each supported by a mentor.
The Basic Case Skills Championships is yet another step towards implementing strategic practice-oriented education and cooperation of the University with key employers in the training of specialists for Industry 4.0.
