SUM Rector Ivan Lobanov, ‘We have switched to effective distance-learning formats’
In light of the emergency measures designed by the Working Group of the Ministry of Education and Science, an expert webinar ‘Distance-Learning Formats at Universities’ for heads of universities was held, where Rector of the State University of Management Ivan Lobanov demonstrated SUM’s experience in transitioning to distance education for more than 500 representatives of Russian universities.
Information on distance learning for students
Following Rector Ivan Lobanov’s Order No. 89V dated 16 March, the entire educational process at SUM will be switched to a remote format for the period of preventive measures in response to the spread of the coronavirus.
The learning process is organised based on students’ personal profiles on the distance-learning platform.
A single electronic hotline number for the Dean’s Office
From 16 March 2020, in response to the period of preventive measures surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, a single electronic hotline for the dean’s office and technical support service has been established to support distance learning for full-time and part-time students of all institutes.
The Road of Memory project to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory
The State University of Management is gearing up for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War and will hold a number of events to commemorate this date. From today everyone can take part in the Road of Memory project of the Russian Ministry of Defence dedicated to the heroes of the Second World War.

The State University of Management announced the results of the first stage of elections to the Student Council. This year elections were held at the Institute of Information Systems, the Institute of Economics and Finance and the Institute of State Management and Law.
